10.0A truly fantastic five-star experience in a stunning, peaceful setting. Marianne and René are exceptional hosts who offer genuine authenticity and warmth. The food was a revelation—packed with delicious homemade delicacies. The recommendations for the nearby highlights were spot-on. Located near the charming town of Takaka, this stay is a perfect retreat.

Nice place in a beautiful part of New Zealand.
9.0What a lovely location. It's on a small farm up on a hill above the main road, so feels quite secluded. Rene and Marianne are very nice. Breakfasts were huge and delicious - truly farm to table. We enjoyed having the hot tub. And we got to enjoy Rene's pizza, also farm to table!
− I know this is a personal thing, but the bed and pillows were not very comfortable for me. Also, out of anyone's control, there were a LOT of bugs since it was very warm and we wanted the windows open.

10.0Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit bei Marianne und Rene! Sie sind überaus freundliche Gastgeber. Eine besondere Überraschung jeden Morgen war das fantastische, super leckere und sehr liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück. Auch die Ferienwohnung hat uns sehr gefallen. Alles sauber und sehr gemütlich. Vielen Dank nochmals für alles, liebe Marianne und lieber Rene! Alles Gute für Euch!
