A very pleasant property overall, located in gardens with a lovely pool. However, it was very difficult to locate, with no signage from the main road at all. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, the lady of the house was extremely charming, while the gentleman was a little overbearing. The room was simple but adequate, however the bathroom could have been better maintained. The breakfast - B&B style - was good.

Et fremragende lille familiehotel, Store værelser hygglige opholdsrum og stort poolområde. Værtsparet ved ikke at det gode de skal gøre for at gøre opholdet behageligt. Fruen laver selv strålende mad.

There was nothing to like about this property. They charge as if it is a 4* hotel but in reality it is a 1* or at the most a 2* hotel. The place looked cheap and dirty. Towels felt like they were not well washed. Breakfast was basically coffee and toast for vegetarians. I asked for a glass of milk instead of coffee, they said they will have to charge extra. I got hot shower but my wife did not. They ran out of hot water. How can Expedia list this hotel as worthy of accommodation?

Very familiar hotel in the city

It is a small and very familiar hotel in Rathnapura! Ananda and his wife Shirani were amazing! They are very kind and sweet. Shirani coocked super exellent sri lankan dinner for us. There is a very nice swimmingpool and restplace in the garden. So it was much more than i am expectid.

Ok place, would not go back.

Average accommodation, decent home cooked food. Couple who run it quite friendly, but only reason to go to this town is for the gemstones, and ultimately that is disappointing. Ugly town full of the usual peddlers.
