Good hotel with very poor English speaking staff.
4.0If you don't know Chinese, don't stay here. Although staff makes extra effort they cannot communicate. Even small things are an impossibility here.

10.0Staff was very friendly. We arrived late at night, and it was an easy, short walk from the airport. Carson, the night clerk, was very friendly. Our Tibet area permit had been mailed to the hotel, but was not readily found by staff. Carson continued to make calls and contacted our Tibet guide company in the middle of the night and stayed on it until our permit was found. We left early in the morning before the kitchen opened for our complimentary breakfast, but Carson found some things for us to eat. I look forward to staying here again. The room and hotel are beautiful!

6.0If you need a place close to the airport, that location is the strongest point. However, the staff barely speak English. The room was kind of old and the AC was not working properly. The breakfast is fair, but not quite suitable for westerners.
