Very pleasant with one or two important shortcomings

The hotel is comfortable with welcoming staff. The room and bed were very good, while the bathroom lacked a few useful bits of equipment, in particular any aid for getting in and out of the bath shower. That operation for elderly and not so mobile people was a challenge and the bath floor itself was slippery and needed some form of anti-slip material. The two dinners we had were unimaginative, lacked vegetables and were uncompetitive with the restaurant meal we had in the centre of Villandry, which was similarly priced and much better. The highlight of a three night stay was a 45 minute massage, excellently performed.

This large chateau was renovated by the present Owners/family in 2012 and the hospitality is demonstrated in their care and excellent customer service. It has an elevator, all services and everything works. It is homely and comfortable and so quiet when I visited. I loved every minute there

This beautiful hotel is a 5 minute walk from the chateau. A lovely property with very friendly staff.

Wonderful Personal Attention

This is the fifth time that we have stayed at this lovely inn. We have been running bike tours every couple of years since 2017. Every time we come to the Inn, the owner, Pascal, has made some improvement. First it was adding air conditioning to the entire Inn, then it was adding a casual dinner service. This year, Pascal has converted one of their rooms to be a massage room where you can order massages. The Inn is immaculate and quite lovely. We really enjoyed Pascal's personal attention to his guests. For the first time we were challenged with rain on the day that our bike tour was leaving Villandry. Pascal was able to find a company to arrange bicycle transport for our large tandem bikes and arranged for cab rides for those of our group who were not comfortable riding. On our tour we stay at some pretty fancy and pricey places, but this hotel remains my favorite. It is because the hotel is comfortable and the management is warm, welcoming and always looking for ways to make our stay even better. We look forward to coming to the Inn again the next time we run our tour.

Nice place to stop and visit Villandry chateau and garden.

Nice hotel especially if you are visiting the Villandry chateau and garden (5 mins away). Rooms were clean with a/c and breakfast was good. Set meal dinner was average. Good place for a stop over and to see the chateau and garden. Thank you / Merci!
