8.0Very nice comfortable place with friendly and helpful staff. Great bath and shower. Quite noisy outside. Only downside was the food, the beef was so tough almost inedible. Overall a lovely place.
A largely unknown gem
10.0I booked the hotel because it was close to where I wanted to be. I was surprised positively because there is little information about this hotel from local sources. That may be the reason why there were very few guests. The room I was given was not only spacious with beautiful view of the city on the side of stadium, but also was very clean and very quite. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The manager was responsive to requests I made. The house keeping staff responded in minutes when water leaked from a very heavy and windy rain. In short, my stay was excellent.
Best value service for the price
10.0Delano Hotel is relatively new, located close to Bahir Dar International Stadium. The service I received during my stay is excellent. Staff are generally friendly. I enjoyed their breakfast items. The hotel room is spacious. Rest rooms are kept clean. In my opinion, it is the best value service for the price in Bahir Dar.
Good value for money.
8.0Service was no problem during my stay - from the airport pick-up until I left again. I enjoyed the informative walk around the market; and for the more adventurous to make use of local taxi's for transport. I would recommend a tuk-tuk ride! Did not have much time to explore around the city but I going to if I get another opportunity. Room was clean and spacious but can do with better sound-proofing inside the hotel. Breakfast was reasonable and to be expected for the price you pay. Beer was Cold but no Ice available should you need something else.
