10.0Very nice and modern 5 star hotel. When my reservation was made I was given the option to add breakfast for $5US, it's definitely worth it. No self parking, only valet but it's free (not anymore if you tip the drivers which is a must anyway). Private beach and location at the Palm Jumeira in front of the mall and monorail is a plus.

4.0The only things redeeming about Dukes were the pool, multiple places to hang out (when checked out and the location) The rooms and decor was so old fashioned, the bathroom had a smell with a broken toilet and a fridge opposite the toilet. No sauna or steam room. The grounds had peeling paint all through. The lobby was poorly designed, always crowded because the front desk were super slow. Thanks to patient concierges.
