Good, traditional Chinese hotel
8.0The front staff didn't speak English (though, someone was e-mailing me in English, but I guess I never met this person). We used a translator app back and forth which helped a lot, so I was grateful they had that. In order to use the AC I had to go down to the front desk each day and ask them to turn it on. When I needed directions, they went to another hotel to get someone who spoke English (which solved the problem, but would have been great to have that person at this hotel). The beds are very hard, but that is typical Chinese style. This hotel is probably just perfect for a Chinese person but not for a Westerner, which is fine but just be aware when looking for somewhere to stay!
