10.0The Far View was a wonderful place to stay. The house is beautiful, the writeup about the house is very fun to read. Our room was the last available for the nights we were there. So it was a bit tight. But it was very clean and comfortable. We spent some time sitting in the living area, which was very nice. Breakfasts were very, very good. I have gluten allergies and the owner/cook went out of his way to accommodate. This is in the older part of Brenham and it was wonderful to take morning walks. And the downtown was bustling. We went out for dinner and music, sitting outside. It did not hurt that weather was Texas/Fall/Perfect! If we are back in Brenham, this is the first place I will check. It was a great experience.

10.0Clear directions, clean and welcoming, spacious and private. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub as well. The breakfast was included and fabulous! We are GF and the couple made us something special. So thoughtful.
Friendly Retreat
6.0Area pleasant and accessible to shops in town. Management for property friendly and breakfast was excellent. The property offers pool and courtyard with sitting areas it also offers hot tub but was not very clean and the paths were not cleared for safe walking could cleanup around the property. The room was comfortable but shower would run of hot water.
