2.0ホテルとは名ばかり…。 事実上、民宿です。 部屋に浴衣はありません。お風呂場まで、取りに行って下さい。それでも浴衣が大きい物しかありません。コーヒーありません。税込みかわかりませんが、￥400-だそうです。布団は自分でひいてください。

Cute hotel with marvelous views
8.0This nice hotel has a great view facing the Ishikari river which offers quite a view. During our visit in November, the river was covered with some snow, which makes it even more pleasant to look at. It was off-peak season and there was only one staff manning the hotel. When we check in, we had to wait for a while for our rooms to be finalized. So we decided to play some pool, hang out a bit around the hotel and so on. Everything was nice and clean. The room that we stayed may be a bit small, but just nice for 3 persons. We had to make our own futon/tatami bed, which is quite common in Japanese hotels. Very cozy, and the views outside was very nice, which faced the snowy river. The hotel provided onsen for both sexes, a pool table, lounge area to watch a movie as well. The hotel entertainment area, located on the ground floor can be very tight if there were many guests coming in during peak season. It is quite a small town, so everything is very accessible. Overall a good place to stay.
Road Trip stopover
8.0We were on a road trip to Shiretoko and wanted to stop into Sounkyo because of the ropeway and beautiful valley. This hotel stood out to me as I'd seen them on Instagram and it looked really nice and was in a very central area. The onsen was good, but all closed off without views. The restaurant was okay, but I'd recommend booking in advance if you want to have the bigger meal with cute individual shabu shabu's. The small set menu is available to be booked on arrival and was nice. We really enjoyed the ease of walking around town, and there was some limited parking options outside the hotel which we were early enough to take advantage of. I think everyone else parks down the road in a large carpark. Wifi was only available in the common areas downstairs, but as we had our own data it didn't affect us. We stayed in the tatami room which was nice and had a heater inside to keep you nice and warm. Would stay again.
