9.0Great location and offstreet parking. Pleasant airy bedroom
− Lack of an upstairs toilet! Lack of storage containers for food products e.g. bread bin and food boxes. Woefully inadeqate freezing capacity in a refrigerator that pooled water on the shelves. It would have been helpful to have had a few informative books on local wildlife, history/archeology etc like most quality accommodations have. Bed was smaller than we like
Ten day stay and we thoroughly enjoyed Orkney and the islands. Harbour Cottage was a great base. .
10.0Harbour Cottage is cosy, comfortable and well equipped, close to the centre of Stromness and the Island ferries. The host, David was helpful and quick to respond to any queries.
