3.0The on-site shower room was extremely dated with stained shower and peeling old sealant, the feel was of a gritty bedside and not a £100 a night room. The cups had ring marks inside and the kettle lead didn't even reach a plug so it had to sit on the floor. I would not recommend this hotel.

− The room was very dirty. Dirty carpet and thick dust and grime in corners and under furniture and behind bed.Very small bed - my husband fell out in the night! Hairs and dust in bathroom and ledges. Toilet brush - ! Bathroom floor Lino unwashed. Furniture old, scratched. Outside unswept with accumulated debris and grubby tables.

Good enough for a couple of nights stay but the inadequate water pressure to bath/shower was an issue
6.0Quaint old fashioned inn hotel great bars and food and all staff were friendly and helpful. Room was fairly spacious, bed comfortable and great to be able to open the sash windows to let in some air.
− My only gripe was that the water from bath taps and the shower in my room had barely a trickle of water .. personally I’d rather a decent shower above all else
