A good option in a remote location.
7.0Beautiful small cabins that fit in well with the surrounding nature scape. Orientation made good use of the lovely view over Lake Wakatipu. Comfortable bed and sitting area. Clean with some thoughtful touches (e.g., insect cream in dispenser, organic teas). Cosy cafe for breakfast with nice coffee and friendly staff. Close to some great walks (e.g., Lake Sylvan) and an ideal base for tackling day walks on the Routeburn Track.
− Cramped and poorly designed bathroom. 'Smoked' salmon on the menu is not the same as 'tinned' salmon on toast.

− Staff seemed a bit harassed when busy which felt awkward. This brought the experience down a bit.

− Issues with their new technology, meant having to spend 1 hour trying to connect and ultimately really begs the question; why have the technology option advertised?? Would recommend removing it. It spoilt our evening
