Great place to enjoy Nozawa Onsen ski holiday.
9.0The ski in and out location was great. Beginner skiers had no trouble accessing the hotel as a beginners run goes straight past the front door. The staff were all friendly and spoke English (far better than our attempts to speak Japanese) The onsen was peaceful and relaxing. But the standout was the food. Amazing. Because the lodge is hard to access after 4pm we took other reviewers advice and had the dinner and breakfast package. The meals were wonderful. Beautifully prepared and presented, and the Japanese wine we tried was great.
− The beds and pillows were very hard, but that’s the norm in Japan. If you would like to try the night life in Nozawa Onsen, this would possibly be a little difficult as the walkway gets closed at 4.40pm.
