10.0Host Debbie was very welcoming, the room was very clean and the bed linen very fresh. The room could do with a little TLC with a wonky toilet seat, shower door loose and the creeking floor boards that added character to the room. Hotel is located to easy access all Skipton amenities and surrounding area. I would recommend this hotel.
Only 10 minute walk from centre of Skipton.
10.0Highfield house is very close to centre of Skipton. Parking is relatively easy in the area. Our host was available when I called to ask about parking on drive and as she had finished preparing the rooms allowed us to check in then. Very helpful.
Long weekend in Skipton
8.0Positives: Comfy bed Fridge in room Yorkshire tea and Grandma Wilds biscuits in room replenished daily Hosts were friendly and offered advice on local area 5-min walk to train or bus station Close to shops, pubs, restaurants Negatives: No window in bathroom and extractor fan and a bit noisy Shower took a few minutes to warm up If you like to sleep with the window open the road outside is quite busy Entrance hallway was a bit smelly Overall, good value for money. Would stay here again.

10.0From the moment we arrived Debbie made us feel so welcome, the room was spotless, the bed was ready comfy and the room was lovely and warm. In the morning when we went for breakfast Debbie greeted us with a good morning and a smile. Breakfast was well cooked, plentiful and set us up for the day. Thank you Debbie for making our stay so enjoyable. Harold & Gene Evans
