Lovely house in peaceful location
9.0Beautiful house utilising a natural cave. Very interesting and individual. The ambient temperaturte inside the house was always perfect around 20 degrees. The BBQ area in other cave joined to the house was perfect for relaxation and cooking of food on the BBQ. The setting is very peaceful with horses grazing on the adjacent hillside and at night it is silent for perfect sleep. The town or Artenara is within walking distance. Also from the front door there is some of the best hiking on the island.
− Not much. It was all a very positive experience. Only one thing to be aware of is that the only Spar supermarket in town closes at 17:30 although there are a couple of tiny shops for essentials that stay open later, and restaurants close also at 17:30 during the week. So you have to plan ahead a little bit and use that BBQ !
