Worst Experience! Don't Book!

Don't book in this hotel! We just had our convention with almost 2,000 delegates coming from different asean countries. Hotel management did not allot a good amount of staff to accommodate our needs, leading to late serving of breakfast. food trays are not refilled immediately, leading people to queue for hours just to get food and pile up the line with empty food trays. And in order to get food, delegates need to get out of the hotel to buy food in nearby 7-Elevens and other food stores. What a disappointment! Room security is low as they still use keys. No room service, because housekeeping doesn't have keys to open and clean the room when you're away. Toilets (near the convention hall) don't even have hand soap in place, and tissue is only available in the toilet area and not at the sink. The convention hall doesn't have any projectors, and cleaning is assigned to 1 person only! so the hall is dirty (no cleaning since day 1 until our 4th day of the convention), and no water bottles are provided for the VIPs or even the organizers. The place is old and moldy. and i wonder how the management can still have the conscience to open and operate in this very poor situation. I don't recommend this place for you to book. Don't be fooled by the pictures seen in the website. Read reviews!

It was my third stay at the hotel. What a disappointment! Service is zero, quality of rooms is zero, breakfast is zero. A/C was leaking and never fixed after multiple complaints. Should request for toilet paper refill, soap and other amenities. Toilet bowl did not flush well and was not fixed for the whole duration of my stay (9 days) and I was not offered other room while the hotel was almost empty. Some strange brown color liquid was dropping from bathroom ceiling. Breakfast was terrible. Variety of food was extremely limited. Ceiling in the restaurant was leaking and floor was covered with dirty cloth which did not prevent from slipping. One day, I had a day trip and was forced to order a "lunch box'. What a joke! A half of the box was filled with cabbage, another half was occupied by three tiny peaces of watermelon, four slices of bread and a half(!!!) of fried egg. One bottle of water was added as well. Upon checking in I was charged with USD100 deposit, and no surprise that at checkout the envelope with the money was empty. Hotel staff offered me local currency (6 am in the morning and my overseas flight in four hours!!!).

I visited this place back in 2016 and it was fine and busy. Both Hotels were opened, there was a sort of night food market and tons of restaurants to choose from. However before selecting this hotel, I read the reviews and then called the hotel to make sure it wasn't as bad as the reviews were saying. They assured me that the hotel was fully functional and in good shape. Well truth is the staff lied through their teeth. That Indian man I got on the phone tricked me 100 %. Imagine what apocalypse feels like, sort of if the world died back in 90s ? That is what it is exactly like. The place is totally empty, and it is not hard to know why. Back in 2016, the place already showed its age, and since then they have done absolutely no repairs nor maintenance. This place was a palace back in the days, but now in 2024, its just a very old sorry looking place. The owners have given up on it and should close this place, tear in down and start over. Breakfast is horrible, rooms are well, from the 90's and in their juice....I just want to run away but too late to cancel now, already paid, i am sure they won't refund even though they know they are cheating their customers....so gonna have to endure a 3 nights stay with the family and hope for the best. I am not even sure the hotel restaurants are open. There is NO ONE, so why should they be open ? Pool on the beach is ok though that is already something. But anyway, there are much better places around the same area for less money. Unless you enjoy a trip down the 90's in an old and not maintained massive hotel which is totally empty enjoying your own company, stay away. You have been warned. What kills me, is why the owners are keeping this place open ? Why, no one comes, it is a time warp hole in which you throw money. Just close the place down already and renovate it to its former glory, right now this place is just a massive dump.

This hotel has magnificent Sporting facilities all of them useless as the management seems unable to get the A/C units working despite a new system recently being fitted after months of unreliable service. Three days a week my friends and I suffer the same on/off service despite us being the ONLY customers!
