Don’t waste your money or time going here. This place used to be great, but now it’s looking seedy and seriously needs updating. We used to love coming here, but it’s under new ownership and it’s not being well run at all. We booked an overnight wedding anniversary stay, (45th!) which we were really looking forward to, having stayed here four other times. The person who checked us in didn’t even know where our room was! We were sent on a wild goose chase upstairs carrying our bags only to discover the room # we were given didn’t exist. Finally got our room sorted, took a half hour. A wedding reception was being held, taking over the entire public area. Ok, whatever…To go to our dinner reservation in North Conway, we left our room via the back stairway to avoid wading through the reception, and had to go through knee high grass and navigate a dangerously rocky path to the parking lot. In the morning, on the way to “breakfast,” the access to the dining room was locked so we had to go around on the lawn to the porch, which was also locked. A kind guest let us in. “Breakfast” consisted of muffins, coffee and a few whole oranges. There must have been yogurt where there was an empty tray of ice. No one there to ask. They used to serve a nice full breakfast. Alas, this is no more! We finally retrieved our bags and left in disgust. Found a restaurant to get breakfast. Wish I could give it zero stars, seriously.

Awful stay

Do not stay at this hotel. This place has not been ugraded in many years; the rooms are musty and old - not charming, just old. There is nothing welcoming or personal touches you might expect from an inn nestled in the white mountains. Better off at a motel 6 where the rooms are newer, cleaner, and there is someone there to welcome you.

I loved the comfy feel of the lounge.

− The food was not great. Ordered cheese plate and they manager and bartender didn't know what was what. Meat was starting to turn. Sour and not great. No televisions? The views are amazing, but we're Bloomberg freaks and missed watching.

The view & quietness and no road traffic There’s a restaurant downstairs but they don’t bother us…

− There’s free breakfast but we bought our own since we have a lot of restrictions…
