We had a great stay at AutoCamp! The property is STUNNING and you can tell they’ve put a lot of effort into it - so many little sitting areas if you want to get out of your AirStream and beautiful foliage/trees all around. Great location near downtown, river spots, etc. Two main “cons” that might affect our decision to come back: 1) We were shocked at the amount of families/kids there. We definitely thought AutoCamp was more marketed toward couples just given the set up of the whole thing, but my husband and I were in the far minority vs families. We don’t mind kids by any means, but they were running around everywhere, etc so definitely not a quiet / “adults only” experience if that’s what you’re wanting. 2) On that same note, everything is really close together. Not a huge deal and everyone was respectful, but just FYI if you’re wanting a lot of privacy, this isn’t the best place for that. Even the premium airstreams are basically the exact same space as the regular ones, just a *slightly* better location

We had a wonderful stay at AutoCamp Guerneville! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our Airstream was comfortable, cute, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect—close to town and easy to get to nearby spots. There were lots of families with kids, which made it feel welcoming and lively. One of the highlights of our trip was making s’mores by the fire under the stars—it made for such a fun and cozy evening. We’d definitely come back again!

Worst experience. An broken windows that could have hurt my family in an accident , was fully charged to our account

We had the worst experience . In the morning of check out. As our daughter opened the bathroom window , it just broke into small pieces . Luckily, the glass flew to the outside and she was not hurt . It was an accident , as the window was suppose to open , and for some malfunction, it broke the glass . We let the staff know , but instead of having anyone attend to check if anyone got hurt, we just got a message during check out of a 350usd charge for the broken window . As we asked to speak to the general manager , named Todd, he said he was not available and that we have to pay the charge in order to check out . While on vacation and with pre booked tours for the morning , we said we coulf not wait . And yet , he never showed up to talk to us, and wouldn’t even respond the texts the employer on the front desk was sending him. After an accident , the least the hotel could do was to speak to us. But no one even bothered , and just charged out credit card on file . Such a shame the way guests are treated here . It was our second time in an auto camp , the first one in Joshua Tree was amasing. But the was in Sonoma should rethink its approach towards guests. An accident this could have hurts the guests was ignored and treated only as the loss of a broken glass charged without any discussion.
