10.0Miika has the most beautiful garden so for all plant lovers this is the place in Uganda you need to visit. The garden is old forest in which they build the cottages. There are also a lot of animals so the kids will enjoy also. Everything is very clean. Rooms are also nice and big, food is great, and in other hotels in Uganda we didn't have fridge and aircondition. We also got coffe and tea in the room. So if you travel from Murchison to Kibale this is the best place to rest. They also have the pool and sauna. This hotel is really budget friendly and you get a lot for your money.

6.0Het hotel bestaat uit losse twee-onder-een-kaphuisjes in een mooie tuin, waar de apen rondlopen. Op het eerste gezicht ziet het er dus mooi uit, maar het is slecht onderhouden en de verf bladdert. Het is ingericht met gouden gordijnen en kil licht. Daar moet je van houden. Enige pluspunt: de airco (die we overigens meteen hebben uitgezet, want 16 graden vonden we in vergelijking met de buitentemperatuur ietwat te frisjes). Leuke tip: bij Hoima is de laatste rustplaats van koning Kabalego te bezoeken. We kregen er een interessante rondleiding van Freddie (ik geloof dat het 20.000 Shilling kostte en de toegang 10.000 pp).
− Het personeel was ongeinteresseerd en het is allemaal zo liefdeloos. We misten de betrokkenheid en hartelijkheid die we elders in Oeganda wel volop zijn tegengekomen. Misschien kwam het doordat we arriveerden in een klein bestoft autootje? Het toilet trok aanvankelijk niet door, de kraan van de douche hielden we in onze handen, het zwembad is buiten de poort op vijf minuten loopafstand (daar moet je onder begeleiding heen, word je geregistreerd en moet je je sandalen inleveren voor slippers). Het diner en het ontbijtbuffet vielen erg tegen. Wel heel lekker: de versgemaakte omelet.

6.0The Hotel was really good, not far from the city centre, but far enough to have a quiet night's stay. The hotel is surrounded by nature with beautiful gardens and mature trees which often have monkeys. Staff were friendly and always helpful.
− The bathroom doesn't have any water guard for the shower area so water just goes everywhere including near the toilet which makes using the toilet later a very unpleasant experience.

10.0Der Pool und das Wäldchen inmitten der Anlage. Das Frühstück war fantastisch mit großer Auswahl an europäischen und ugandischen Speisen.
