8.0This was a very nice place to stay in Miyanoura. The breakfast and dinner service was unexpected. Both were interesting and satisfying. The steam bath was excellent after a day of hiking. The staff here were very nice and helpful.

Convenient Location but Spartan Conditions
8.0My family and I stayed here for our first visit to Yakushima. As it was the middle of February, the facility had an off-season vibe and felt partially deserted. We enjoyed our stay, but the aging infrastructure and somewhat spartan conditions didn't lend themselves to comfortable accommodations. We may explore other options on the island when we visit next time.

8.0The location was good and the Japanese style room was large, futons were comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were elaborate - lots of small Japanese dishes, everything delicious.
