An excellent choice for a relaxed stay on Samui

This resort has everything a gay traveler could hope for, including gym, clothing-optional pool and even a dark(ish) room area. Over Christmas they had lots of very busy events with a lot of day guests on top of the ones staying at the resort. The pool bar offers drinks and simple meals for breakfast and throughout the day. If you so wish, you do not need to leave the resort at all, but can spend your entire holiday there. The atmosphere at the resort was very relaxed and friendly, not a single "unpleasant" guest. We chose to eat out most of the days for the sake of variety. A big shopping mall with a large selections of restaurants is only 10 minutes walking distance away, but of course, as always in Thailand, the roads are not made for pedestrians and it's not a pleasant walk.

− The price is very high, similar to a five-start-hotel in the city center of Bangkok, but mind you: It's worth it! The windows of the room don't close completely (about 2mm remain) and the bathroom has a ventilation window that cannot be closed at all. For the temperature, that is no problem, as the air conditioning works very well, but it makes it impossible to keep mosqitos out completely. Luckily there were only very few, but a couple of nights we had several stings in the morning. The resort offers transport to and from the airport and to excursion destinations of your choice, you should be aware though that they charge roughly twice what you pay for a regular cab. If you do not use WhatsApp or Telegram, communication only works in peron at the pool bar. SMSs remain unread for several days. Next time we'll bring a separate phone just for WhatsApp.

Not much

− We stayed at this hotel to connect with other gay travelers, but in hindsight, we wish we would have stayed at a nice beach resort and bought a day pass. The pool was opaque green for the first couple of days, and management said it was okay to swim in…no way did that seem like a good idea. The hosts seemed distant and not very concerned about our experience. The room was very basic with no daily housekeeping. We ended up avoiding the hotel as much as possible. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes along busy streets. On the plus side, though small, it has the cleanest darkroom/steam room I have ever seen.

Le seul hotel gay de Samui, très correct mais peu mieux faire

Le terrain et le jardin sont un havre de paix, les chambres sont confortables, les installations plutôt agréables comme la piscine, le solarium et le hamam. L'organisation dans la communication what's app est parfaite en amont et pendant le séjour. Nous n'avons jamais réussi à avoir d'eau chaude dans la chambre , petit problème de réglage surement...

− Le personnel devrait faire un effort pour être souriant , agréable et moins froid... on se retrouve face à des personnes dont on a l'impression qu'elles aimeraient être partout ailleurs qu'ici. L'accueil ne s'apprend pas, il est inné, et c'est bien dommage. C'est un endroit gay, mais pas très friendly! Certaines améliorations dans le design extérieur pourraient faire de cet endroit un lieu beaucoup plus qualitatif : supprimer un peu de tous ces rappels des couleurs du drapeau LGBT partout (on sait que c'est un lieu gay!!!), remplacer cette pelouse en plastic ... bref, il y a un petit côté cheep dans tout ça.

Very friendly helpful staff team I had a marvellous time in so many ways I had a brilliant excursion to local islands for snorkeling --real adventure 😀 Cocktails at the resort were very good indeed too!
