Unsafe, violent staff, decided not to stay
1.0− Violent staff. They shouted, and I decided not to stay in a place where someone pretends not to be able to speak (actually, he was pretending to have a disability, and suddenly he completely changed his behavior, shouting in Spanish and Arabic). This is the first time I have ever felt completely unsafe. Two other younger guys were walking around, watching and laughing at the situation, at how I basically didn't trust the guy and waited at the front door until someone who could speak showed up. Horrible experience. There is more than one door with the hostel's sign, which is quite confusing. Apparently, you have to enter a rather dark building and go upstairs. This huge, forty-something guy came out of nowhere, smiling while waving me in with his hands, shaking his head yes and no, almost as if he were deaf or couldn't understand my English, Spanish, or French. I lost my money, but feeling safe is much more important.
