2.0Beds were comfortable and the location was very good.
− I’m afraid that Greyfriars Lodge needs an upgrade for bedroom, bathroom and other areas. Dark chipped paint and dated furniture is not inviting.The wallpaper hanging down from the ceiling and wall in the Reception area is not a good look.The price is reasonable for central Canterbury but this should not be an excuse for ignoring repairs that are needed to things like toilet roll holders and showers. The breakfast was basic with cheap sliced bread and no sign of the croissants that you might expect for a continental breakfast which was disappointing.An Australian couple were staying 3 nights here as their first stay in the UK. I felt embarrassed that Greyfriars was not offering them a better experience of what Britain can offer tourists.

3.0Dichtbij de centrum. De locatie is prima.
− Het hotel presenteert zich als een 3 sterren accommodatie maar de hygiëne en het onderhoud voldeden daar niet aan. De badkamer was erg krap, er was slechts ongeveer 50cm ruimte om de deur te openen. Ook de douche was duidelijk aan onderhoud toe en gaf niet de indruk goed verzorgd te worden. Voor de prijs die wij hebben betaalden hadden wij een niveau verwacht dat pas bij een 3sterrenhotel.

− L'habitació no sortia a les fotos. Llit doble sí però habitació vella (mobles vells, molt petita), bany minúscul i vell. Passadissos foscos i terra grinyolava. Molt decebedor. Ens vam canviar d'hotel el mateix moment.

− Het ontbijt stelde weinig voor. De kamer kon wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken, vooral de badkamer. De foto's waren beter dan de werkelijkheid.
