− In general, halong bay feels over touristed. But, the cruise was good.
Nice boat, but not quite "trendy" — and a bit too touristy for my taste
8.0Beautiful, comfortable and very clean boat — though not sure what's "Trendy" about it, felt quite classic. Nice route, lucky to be moored on the outside at night. Staff very friendly. Food was decent. Rooms were nice with a good bathroom and working AC. The small front pool was a pleasant surprise. Everything included in the program felt like part of the experience, and there was an option to get a massage on board.
− Ask for a room at the front to avoid diesel fumes. This was a group tour, which isn't really my thing, so that may color my review a bit. Transport from Hanoi could improve — pickup is far too early, plus there's a mandatory stop at a pearl shop and other souvenir stores, which felt like a tourist trap. Constant upselling too — even breakfast cappuccino isn't included and isn't flagged as extra. Staff and management's English could use more investment/training. No wifi on board — mobile coverage is weak out there, but Starlink would solve a lot.

10.0We had an amazing 2 night cruise. Staff are extremely nice and very helpful and views were breathtaking. Food was great, although some dishes were not exactly out taste. Nonetheless, it was absolutely worth it and we wil be back one day.
