10.0The property was absolutely stunning. There is a walkable area around the property where you can take a stroll and see all the different plants on the property. It is only a five minute drive to the volcanoes and surrounding restaurants.

The perfect stay right next to Volcanoes National Park
10.0The property was absolutely gorgeous! There was a short walk through a stunning rain forest (?) and small bamboo forest. I swear I even saw a wild pig run through! I might be crazy, I was jet lagged, but what ever it was scared the bajeebies out of me! 🤣

Wonderful B&B in Volcano
10.0We spent three nights at the Hale 'Ohu B&B this past week. The twin sisters, Nicole and Gabrielle were wonderful hosts. They have three wonderfully appointed suites. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Everything is well thought out and no detail is missing. Even down to providing you with custom made umbrellas. The breakfasts are very good, especially the homemade breads. The grounds surrounding the property are like venturing into a private botanical garden. It is very close to the National Park as well as some very interesting art galleries and glass blowing studios. While Volcano, the town is limited to what it offers, what is there is terrific and there is no better place to spend your time there than staying at the Hale 'Ohu B&B.

A lush and lovely oasis
10.0Hale O'hu (House in the Mist) is a lovely botanical oasis. Yet so close to Volcano Natl Park and the little town of Volcano. Very kind and thoughtful hosts. The landscaping is lush and stunning. Everything that you need is provided in the room. The yummy breakfast is left for you in the fridge the day before, so all you have to do it pull it out and heat it up. I hope to definitely return to this B & B!
