A Taste of History at Fruits of Vienna
9.0The feel of 1911 Georgia with todays conveniences. The hosts are very nice people with interesting life stories they don't mind sharing. The grounds are a work in progress but, are already nice and on there way towards being something really special. Breakfast is included at this B&B but the host will also cook you dinner! Els is a great cook and cost is comparable to a restaurant without having to go out.
− Our room was a little tight but, that was the tradeoff for the convenience of having our own bathroom (not so common in 1911 homes).
A magical place to stay. Relax and enjoy great breakfast and dinners. Wonderful hostess
10.0I loved my stay. The owner was a lovely, kind lady that made my stay Wonderful. I stayed here several days during the hurricane evacuations. This is a beautiful old historic home set on several acres, so I was traveling with my pet and appreciated the lawn to walk my dog. In a quiet town. My room was decorated with antiques, my bed was very comfortable, and I enjoyed the large tub. The bed and breakfast always prepared a wonderful breakfast of eggs, homemade danish, cheese, meats, orange juice and other selections. You can order your eggs prepared as you like and it's a nice dining room to enjoy breakfast with other guests. Upon request you can choose to have her prepare dinner. I ate dinner here every evening because her cooking was so delicious!!! Each meal was wonderful and is wrapped up with a great dessert. YUM!!! Several of the rooms are up on the second floor and a long stairway takes you to your room. Upstairs she had coffee, teas, snacks and water for the guests. A wonderful front porch to sit on, a side porch area, and a sitting room beside the dining room. I felt so at home here and the owner was so kind and told us places to visit locally, talked about her growing up in Europe and helped in any way she could to make all of our stays as comfortable as possible. I can't say enough about the lovely experience of my stay in Georgia at The Fruits of Vienna B&B. A magical memory for sure. Thank you
− I loved everything
Wonderful host and very comfortable place to stay. Would definitely recommend!
10.0Beautiful bedroom and bath. We enjoyed talking with the owner and felt very comfortable staying there.
Exceptional
10.0The breakfast was wonderful. We were arriving late because of long traffic from the hurricane evacuation. The host was very responsive throughout the day and greeted us in the middle of the night. It felt like we were arriving to see family and she made us feel very comfortable after us stressful day on I 75 . House is built in 1911, well-maintained, quaint, and a lovely place to find room at the inn.
