This was a neighborhood gem
10.0This property was magnificent with the views of Sintra. The Palace team was well trained and attempted to every need that we had. We felt like we were the only visitors in the entire place. There are multiple peacocks on the ground, which makes it even more fun and exotic. The marble throughout the palace is one of a kind and definitely a unique experience. A lot of detail and attention has been put into this property. The daily wine and cheese looking over the view of Sintra at 6 PM was memorable.

The best honeymoon hotel - an absolute fairytale place!
10.0This hotel was the perfect place for our honeymoon, it made us feel like we were in a fairytale. The grounds were beautifully kept, every detail of the building felt absolutely luxurious and we really appreciated the added touches of service such as the coffee on the terrace on arrival (and WOW! what a beautiful view), and the complimentary wine and cheese in the early evening. The room was huge, the bed was comfy and we just adored the place so much - we only wish we could've stayed longer. Also, it's a great location if you are driving a rental car because you get to avoid driving through the worst traffic parts of Sintra - and, there's ample parking at the hotel.
− It's not a huge negative, but the only thing I would note is that our room didn't have a shower, only a bath tub (which we hadn't realised when booking). If you value a shower just make sure you select a room that has one. The marble bath tub was very luxe though!

8.0Nice hotel with very nice grounds. Needs s bit of maintenance and refresh.
− My room was in the old library which was very spacious and equipped. Downside was the musty smell and dust. I had to take allergy meds to stay in the room. If they could do something about this everything would if been perfect.
