Top marks for everything. The most amazing beach cottage oasis
10.0Myrthe met us to hand over the keys and give us a run through of the cottage. It was such a lovely cottage, Myrthe is so thoughtful in providing little extras that really made a difference to our stay. Lots of written instructions about things around the cottage, how things worked. The whole house has a lovely charming beach feel. Feels very safe and secure. When you shut the gate it feels like you're in a beach oasis. House was really nice and clean. Weber BBQ was basially brand new, coals were available in the garage which we replenished after using. Garden was so lovely to just relax in.

9.0Our stay at hout bay cottage was brilliant, perfectly located for lots of activities and just a short walk to the beach. There were lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay again.

10.0Small but very compact , very clean cottage. Complete array of kitchen accessories and cleaning materials. It was very secure and safe.
− Bathrooms were not that modern . There was an issue with water in the area which is not surprising in South Africa. Recommend a back up water system for emergencies as most people have been forced to do with irrational water supply.

9.0Villa was spotlessly clean with 2 beautifully presented bedrooms with ensuites. So many homely touches & extra provisions show that the owners really want you to enjoy your stay. An easy 5 mins walk to the beach, bars & restaurants.
− The bottom of the pool was grimey so we did not use it, such a pity.
Despite the weather, we had a memorable stay at Hout Bay Beach Cottage.
10.0Property tastefully decorated, spotless and really well equipped - as described and everything in good working condition. This property has inverter and gas stove so have ensured comfort during inevitable loadshedding. Charming hostess on hand to greet and hand over keys. Not only would I recommend but would like to stay again should I be in Hout Bay again.
