Amazing villa, outstanding host.
10.0Booked one bedroom but ended up with the whole villa. Nalin our host was excellent, producing fantastic breakfasts and looking after all our needs, he even did some laundry for us. Location was brilliant, very close to the lighthouse right in the heart of the fort with tourist sites and restaurants all within a short walk. Right next to the beach - we swam every morning before 8am before the crowds arrived.

10.0We had the villa to ourselves for the duration (we were the only guests in a three room establishment). The room at the front with its balcony was great for watching the world go by. Ravi was great, attending to our needs, offering advice and even doing our washing. The location could not have been better - inside the dutch colonial fort, plenty of restaurants bars and shops within easy walking distance, beach over the road, juice bar next door, coffee shops metres away. Fantastic.
− The 5 o’clock knock from the local military in training shouting ‘hup, hup, hup’ etc in the middle of the night, but short of a revolution we were stuck with that.

10.0The location of Villa Aurora, a few steps from the lighthouse and the walls of the Dutch Fort. You are also less than a few minutes from the Old Hospital and the busy streets where there are plenty of restaurants/bars/shops. It has a nice buzz during the day but is still quiet at night. The Villa itself is huge, spotless and equipped q With everything you need for your stay. The balcony with sea view and lighthouse view is amazing. Nalin the host is on hand to help with anything you need, and he cooked us a lovely breakfast. Lakshika also organised a trip to Udawalawe for us which was first class. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Galle.

8.0Beautiful large room with balcony and sea view, perfect location to explore Galle.
− Air conditioning blowing directly on the bed, even at lowest fan, made it impossible to use during the night. When A/C turned off, it was too hot to sleep well.
I would return.
