− Une expérience malheureusement très décevante à Selong Selo Lombok. Nous avions réservé cet établissement en nous basant sur les photos et la description disponibles sur Booking, mais à notre arrivée, nous avons constaté un grand écart entre ce qui était présenté et la réalité. La villa que nous avons découverte était beaucoup plus ancienne que ce que les photos laissaient penser. La salle de bain était particulièrement vétuste et l’ensemble ne correspondait pas au standing attendu ni aux images de l’annonce. Voyageant avec nos enfants, nous n’avons pas pu nous sentir à l’aise dans ces conditions. Après avoir essayé de trouver une solution, nous avons finalement dû annuler notre séjour et chercher un autre hébergement en pleine nuit, ce qui a été une situation très stressante et difficile pour notre famille. C’est dommage car le cadre et la vue depuis l’établissement sont magnifiques, mais l’expérience dans la villa n’a malheureusement pas été à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous espérons que Selong Selo prendra en compte ces remarques afin d’améliorer la qualité des logements et de mieux refléter la réalité des villas proposées.

This is a wonderful place, a slice of paradise on a beautiful island. The villas are in excellent condition, the grounds are well-maintained, and offer stunning views of the ocean and beach. I'd especially like to mention the friendly staff. The service is excellent, including the restaurant. A special plus is the personal butler service. Our assistant, Alif, helped us with everything. Transportation was always on time. We learned about all the beautiful and interesting places to visit. Alif was always available.

Why we will return to Lombok every year

We arrived in Lombok as Bali regulars, spending at least a month there every year, and left wondering why we hadn't trusted the advice of others sooner. Lombok, and Selong Selo in particular, will now be an annual family holiday destination for us. We had a wholesome and thoroughly enjoyable family holiday, one of the best we've had in years. The beaches and sea are spectacular, arguably the best in Indonesia. Crystal-clear water meets largely untouched coastline, and even during peak periods it never once felt overcrowded. Try finding that in Bali. Lombok has evolved. There is a growing and impressive food and beverage scene, with an excellent mix of restaurants and cafés all within ten minutes of Selong Selo. Between the resort's own dining options and the increasing number of quality venues nearby, we were genuinely spoilt for choice. The Selong Selo villas are fantastic, but what really made the trip memorable was the staff. The team went above and beyond. They didn't just look after us; they genuinely engaged with our children, even helping to organise and join football and touch rugby games. Those moments became some of our kids' favourite memories of the holiday. Many people have told me that "Lombok is what Bali used to be." Having now experienced it firsthand, I find myself repeating exactly the same message to anyone willing to listen. Selong Selo is a very special place.

− Posizione difficile da raggiungere, e soprattutto reception inadeguata al prezzo della villa per ogni problema rispondono dopo ore se sei fortunato senno non rispondono affatto e in un resort del genere è inammissibile
