A great choice.
10.0We had a really enjoyable stay at Palazzo Baj. It’s in a perfect location for us. Trastevere has lots of great restaurants and bars (Laura provides great local recommendations - definitely check then out). The property is next to the river and you can get a boat down to the Vatican which is a nice way to arrive before you hit the inevitable crowds. The area has a great atmosphere but the Palazzo Baj is on the edge and quiet. This isn’t a hotel but four rooms on the raised first floor of the building with a reception area and an area with snacks and drinks. It doesn’t have a bar, restaurant or provide breakfast but you have everything you need right on your doorstep. They provide tea and coffee, there’s a fridge / mini bar and wine glasses and a corkscrew. We had a great stay here .
− We loved our stay here. The only note would be that the fruit / snacks were not refreshed / replenished whilst we were there.

Great host, Laura, great palazzo and great location for our short stopover stay in Roma.
10.0Laura and her team were great. Laura made us feel welcome and assisted us a great deal. Kept our bags because we arrived very early and accommodated us earlier than expected. Loved the clean and comfortable bed and bathroom. The airconditioned room was great in the hot Roman summer. Great location in Trastevere. Taxi drop off and pick up is right outside the front door. Across the road from the river and in the hub of the restaurants and cafes in Trastevere.

A lovely guesthouse on the Tiber
10.0Right on the Tiber. The owners go out of their way to make you comfortable. 24/7 coffee, tea, fruit, and pastry at no charge. Charming neighborhood full of lovely restaurants and a short scenic walk across the Tiber to the Jewish Quarter.
