Large family home located between Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains

The Moorish House is located in the town of Aghmat. About 45 min drive south of Marrakech. It’s a bit of drive and off the beaten path. But it is a good option if you have many guests traveling together as there are multiple beds and lots of space. It is safe and the neighbors were friendly. A good option is you want an authentic experience.

− The property is a old and a bit tired. It can be a bit challenging finding the location as Google maps does not take you down the right path and you must rely on a local guide (that you have to meet in Aghmat) to take you the first time you arrive. You also must have a vehicle. Walking is not an option.

Incredible place, you will rent the whole house for you, the entire place. It really has everything you could need, full bathroom with shower and hot water, full kitchen, huge living room and dining room, very beautifully decorated and an amazing garden. The bed was really comfortable, we didn't have cold while sleeping. Fattah is a really nice guy, really kind and helpful. We had a problem because we forgot a coat in the house and we notice the next day, he went to Marrakech in order to send our coat by bus to the city that was our next destination and we were able to recover it. He was extremely nice. It is a bit tricky to reach the house because the streets of Aghmat are dirt, but we could do it very easily even with our small car because we contacted him previously, so he picked us up in the principal street of Aghmat (where the shops and restaurants are) and guided us to the house just in 4 minutes. The price is really affordable, even if you don't go as a big group, I would repeat for sure, the surroundings are really calm.

− Everything was perfect, I would just say that the place was a bit cold (we went in winter) but it was just because the gas heater he has in the house broke the previous day to our arrival. But he even tried to fixit in a quick way so that we could heat at least the bedroom a little bit. The wi-fi connection was acceptable.

The house and the garden are really beautiful. The house is big and there is everything you could possibly need. The location is quiet. We were there only for one night and didn't have the chance to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There is a small gas heater that gives some warmth in winter.

− There are no signs that indicate that you have arrived at the property. When you follow the location on Google maps, it will take you to the right place, on arrival, you will need to call the provided number for someone to come.
