Sin ninguna duda un lugar excepcional, único para desconectar y descansar, alejado del ruido y del bullicio. Katia nos preparó unos desayunos riquísimos, con productos típicos de la zona, fue una gran anfitriona muy atenta desde el primer momento. Lugar muy recomendable para viajar en pareja y sin niños.

A magical few days in nature

Nature's Edge is truly a special kind of place to stay and without doubt the most unique hotel I've been lucky enough to visit. It was exactly the place my wife and I were looking for our final few days in Costa Rica and a magical way to end our trip. Set away in the midst of the jungle, we had breathtaking views all the way out to sea and watched the rain from the comfort of our deck. We fell asleep to the sounds of the rainforest, and awoke to howler monkeys and toucans. Our casita was beautifully comfortable with everything we needed. The shared kitchen space was also excellent and gave us an opportunity to cook some nice evening meals, even managing a barbecue one night. All of this was made possible by our amazing hosts. Jim, Katia and Felipe were incredibly kind with excellent recommendations and great conversations. Katia's delicious breakfasts by the pool were something we both looked forward to each morning. She was also kind enough to share one of her recipes when I asked. Also, whilst, we didn't meet in person, Tommy was really communicative in helping us to coordinate before we arrived. As a mostly city driver, I was initially a bit unsure about how I'd get on driving up the dirt road to the hotel. However, with a decent 4x4, as recommended, it was very straightforward, especially after we'd gone up and down one time. I really hope we can make it back to Nature's Edge one day, and can't recommend it highly enough.

− There was nothing I didn't like. Like most things, it depends on the type of trip you want to have. If you're looking for late nights and hustle and bustle, it may not be for you. However, if you want a relaxed getaway surrounded by nature, there are few places I can imagine that would be better.

To put it simply: an exceptional stay on our CR trip. In detail: beautiful bungalows with a magnificent view and attention to detail. The many little touches, like complimentary snacks, a power bank, a varied and freshly prepared breakfast every morning, or a welcome pineapple, made it perfect. Many thanks to Katja, Tom, and Jim for their outstanding service and warm hospitality.

Super nette Gastgeberin. Ein einzigartiges Frühstück. Die Lage ist perfekt, um vom Flughafen den ersten Stopp zu machen und in den Costa Rica Urlaub zu starten.

Im Prinzip alles….

− …..es wird zur Zeit ein neuer Bungalow errichtet und der damit verbundene Baulärm, von 8-17:00 Uhr, hat uns dazu bewegt den Aufenthalt von 6 auf 1 Nacht zu verkürzen. Die Ersatzunterkunft hat uns leider auch noch 500 USD mehr gekostet. Sehr, sehr schade☹️
