We loved Our stay at this Pension. Our room was cozy and clean. The whole Pension is decorated with beautiful Art Work of the host Yuki. It is her and her husbands hospitality, helpfulness and kindness that makes this place one of a kind. She helped us even before arriving with the booking of the ferry and the Rental car. If you stay Here don't muss out in the Kaiseki Dinner Option. It was delicious!

The location was good with on site parking. There were places nearby to eat, which were easy to reach and reasonably priced.

This was definitely our highlight stay of our 3 week trip of Japan. Our host yuki welcomed us warmly and curious about our trip. She helped us with recommendations and logistics, making our adventure in Yakushima be smooth and unforgettable! Our room was spacious, very clean and comfy, the perfect base to start our day trips by car. We were delighted to try the menu of the house both for breakfast, lunchbox and dinner, a blend of local ingredients and japanese cuisine. (Our favourites were the flying fish sashimi and the wine stew beef, and the smoothies with home grown island fruits) We’re looking forward to our next stay at Blue Drop!

The property was very nice and very clean. My partner and I got around Yakushima VIA a car that the owner helped us book, which was super helpful! We were able to request a pick-up and drop-off location. One thing to note about Yakushima is that the restaurants seem to often be reservation only. At first, I didn't think this was much of an issue and that we'd go to non-reservation restaurants, but this turned out to be very difficult. We ultimately asked the owner for help making reservations. Super thankful for that! They called many times but the restaurant didn't answer the phone until much later. Pension Blue Drop's location is a bit out of the way, but with a car it is no problem! It takes about 20-30 mins or so to get to anywhere you want to get to (max 45 min). We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves wanting to go to Yakushima again :)

Herzliche Gastgeberin, die im Vorfeld und während des Aufenthaltes uns wunderbar mit allen Annehmlichkeiten unterstützt hat. Die Unterkunft ist mit einem Liebe zum Detail und allem notwendigen eingerichtet. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt

− Die Betten sowie die Handtücher könnten durch neue ausgetauscht werden.

Yuki war die beste Gastgeberin auf unserer Reise. Sie hat die Fähre für uns von Kagoshima nach Yakushima organisiert und auch ein Auto für unsgeucht. Außerdem ist das Essen fantastisch gewesen. Yuki ist ein liebevoller und kreativer Mensch. Die Unterkunft ist auch sehr schön und sieht in echt noch viel besser aus als auf den Bildern. Es gibt nur 3 Zimmer und es herrscht eine gemütliche Atmosphäre.

− Uns hat alles gefallen. Es gab nichts auszusetzen.
