9.0It was totally delightful but would have preferred the "how to get there a day earlier." I think it might be an idea to warn folk that it is difficult to back out of the drive onto that road. Not that it is that busy but the corners make visibility awkward when you are no longer 21!. I found the best way was to back to the left and proceed 250 m up the road to the gateway on the opposite side and do a U turn. once I worked that trick out all was easy.

We had a beautiful time exploring Bicheno and returning to the Diamond Roost. Very comfortable.

8.0Loved the view from the veranda and the attention to detail, bed was comfy and it wasn't noisy as expected.
− No curtain in the lounge facing neighbours and the other curtain rail was hanging down which was unsightly and hard to use, kitchen cutlery access needs attention.
I liked the location.
