6.0Location was good. Five minutes from the station, maybe seven minutes from the beach.
− Both our supposedly private room’s lock and the shared toilet lock were broken. Instead of fixing the locks management has opted to put up pictures explaining the “right way” to lock the doors. Even doing it the “right way” a little jiggle and the locks come undone. Same thing with the toilet so I was literally holding the sliding door closed with one foot while trying to do my business.

Low Budget Accomodation close to trainstation.
7.0I booked this accommodation because my friend was staying there, so it was very convenient. The location was perfect for exploring Atami. The owner takes plenty of time to explain everything and genuinely cares about his guests. My 3-bed room was spacious, although it really only contained three large beds, so there would have been very little space for luggage if the room had been fully occupied. Fortunately, I had the room to myself. The bathroom is shared, which is something to keep in mind.
− It is a very basic, low-budget accommodation, so don't expect much beyond the essentials. There are quite a few house rules, and the owner reminds guests of them frequently. Overall, I didn't have high expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent location in Atami and the owner's hospitality.
