The space, the area, the set up

− They remove the swallow'nest. They are beneficial species to control insects presence, especially mosquitoes. They shall learn to embrace it and include it in their beautiful site.

Excellent Resort But Watch Out for Sales Tactics

We just returned from one week at Stablewood Springs and overall enjoyed our stay very much. Our unit was clean and in good working condition. We had a second floor unit with a balcony and loved sitting out there and drinking coffee and watching for wildlife in the woods across from us. I used the hot tub at the recreation area once and it worked well, although it was turned off an hour and a half earlier than posted. Our only complaints were that we had to pay $50 to use their Wi-Fi which I think is an exorbitant charge. Most resorts have free Wi-Fi and this one should also. We also resented being cohersed into attending a sales presentation which we had no interest in. The "concierge" tried to recruit us to attend this even though we said we were on vacation and had no interest in it. She would not give up and booked us a time and we did not attend. This is our 3rd time to go to Stablewood Springs and we have always enjoyed it but they need to consider giving free Wi-Fi and let people just relax rather than being pressured into buying something they do not want.

It is a very fun stay. The room smelled so clean.

The location has a nice view. The staff are very friendly. They even gave me a new rice cooker as requested upon check in. The facility is very clean and organized.

− I didn't like that I was charged $40 and was told they will refund it upon check out. That was supposed to be a 90 minute seminar which we decided not to attend because it takes a lot of our time and we are really not interested. I thought it was a no obligation but I didn't get my $40 back. But, the things about Kerrville was nice to know facts.

Great week May 3-10, 2026. So much to see and do or just relax.

We were in Aubrey for a wedding and extended our vacation to explore the San Antonio area. The WorldMark is remote but very well maintained with interesting things to visit within a reasonable drive. I had a two thousand letter draft I just spent an hour writing that has disappeared so I am upset at TripAdvisor and going for a quicker recap. The resort had a great activities director and program. The pool area was awesome and heated with great views. The light from the outside hallway penetrated the windows in the second bedroom so blankets were used to try to sleep. There was wildlife around. The $50 Wi-Fi fee sucked. There were only a handful of other guests. We visited San Antonio riding the boat in the Riverwalk and touring the Alamo. The grocery store and restaurants are fifteen minutes downstream. Enchanted Rock was a great hike. The Cowboy Capital of the World, Bandera, allows chickens in the restroom. Kerrville had a great park, library, playground, and shopping. Did I mention that my long draft disappeared ? Great weather, fun things to do, relaxing, and tragic that they were flooded in the valley below last Summer when the river rose 26 feet in 45 minutes. They are rebuilding, but 139 people died. Now you drive through water to get up the 1.5 mile driveway. We paid Extra Holidays rather than use Club .wyndham points. We refused the timeshare presentation.

We enjoyed our stay at Stablewood Springs. The amenities were enjoyed by our family. Location was a bit out of the way but once found was easy to access area locations. Condos were spacious and comfortable.
