5.0We found the location to be good: there's a 7/11 nearby, not far from the beach (though the beach itself is dirty, with lots of trash). There's a mangrove forest nearby, and there are plenty of cafes and local restaurants nearby. The hotel grounds are also beautifully landscaped, with everything green. We found the staff polite and friendly. The only issue was that we arrived with two cats, which I'd also mentioned during booking, but they only found out about us two or three days into our stay (either by hearing about them or seeing them) and it turned out they didn't know about it. They asked for an extra 1,000 baht for 7 days (for the cats). It was disappointing, as the booking didn't indicate an extra charge for the pets. I just think their booking system might be poorly configured and the extra charge for the pets isn't reflected in the booking.
− The room we rented was extremely dusty. We were given two bottles of water, toilet paper, two glasses, and shampoo and lotion in the shower. The room itself was clearly old; the air conditioning was very weak. The kitchen was bare except for the sink. We were offered cleaning every morning, but we declined because we have cats. Another drawback, although not a major one, was the constant crowing of a rooster (I don't know if it was a recording or a real rooster crowing 24 hours a day), but it really kept me awake. It was audible even at 2 or 3 a.m.
