A comfortable house with an interesting layout. Well appointed with nearly everything you need for your stay. Great location near the inlet and walking distance to town and jetty. Nice quiet spot not affected by road noise or neighbours. Comfy beds and clean rooms and bathrooms. Great communication with property manager.

− Sticky dining table. Needs a scrub with something powerful. A split system in the living room would be a nice addition. The plants at the edge of the driveway are spiky and need a trim. As my 4x4 was too big to fit in the carport we needed to park in the driveway. The plants make it hard to open car doors and spike you when squeezing past with bikes etc. I understand they do offer privacy and add to the landscaping though.

Big house, well-equipped at a quiet location but hard to heat and a little overpriced

The house is big and well-equipped. Quiet location.

− Be aware that when you stay there during cold weather there is only a wood-fired oven. As there are 2 floors but no separating ceiling or walls in between the heat from the oven takes quite a long time to warm up the entire house! Firewood is provided for free but you have to chop it first yourself in the backyard. During my stay, I got 2 (!!) separate automated messages to remind me to properly clean up prior to leaving! - In my opinion, this might be understandable due to bad, prior experiences by the owner, but still, this leaves a somewhat patronizing taste in one's mouth. - A complimentary WIFI would be a great addition too.
