10.0Perfectly located in East Lothian, just outside of Edinburgh, Garleton Lodge is brilliant - super clean, beautifully furnished, with amazing views, particularly from the breakfast room. David is the consumate host & the breakfasts he provides, simply delicious. The information he provides prior to your stay is first class. We loved the short drive into Aberlady to dine at the local pub. Thank you for everything, David!

A high standard and very comfortable experience
8.0Hosts, room, and breakfast was of a high standard
− We were on a tight schedule to make a local engagement on arrival, which severely restricted time to organise food pre local event. We ended up eating a locally purchased carry out fish tea in the car as there were no catering offers at the hotel. Whilst fully understanding that food wasn't on offer, it would be good if the hotel considered a food offer arrangement with local providers in these circumstances. Whilst it was an inconvenience it didn't detract from our overall experience.
