Enjoyable visit with accommodation that is located in a great spot.
10.0We stayed two nights in a Queen Deluxe Room. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the food we ordered upon our arrival on Friday night was delicious. We caught the train to Katoomba from Cronulla in Sydney and for us this hotel was all about location, location, location. An easy walk to reliable service when leaving our vehicle at home, and still being able to enjoy our weekend away. Thank you to the all the staff in bar downstairs, all friendly and helpful.
Katoomba Family Hotel is the best stay in town
10.0I would absolutely have no issues with recommending the Katoomba Family hotel to anyone visiting the area. Jane and her staff were amazing and made any and all feel welcome. The hotel was beautifully maintained including the room and bathroom as part of our stay. Great atmosphere and location.

− Small room and shower. It was noisy but was a Saturday night.
Convenient and clean
8.0First floor room. Double bed and a single. Very clean. Bed very comfortable and assorted pillows - soft and firmer. Room 3 had a very small bathroom - OK for me but not so good for a large person. Quiet at night and courteous staff. Blind is not a blockout so some light in the room at night. No lift. Restaurant downstairs was a pleasant place for dinner. Close to the Main Street of Katoomba and the railway station. Above a pub. Parking was possible.

Please note that the live bands perform until late at night up until 1:00 am - 2:00am. Noise disturbances will occur.
