Fine, except when we saw the extra charges which add up if you're staying several days.
5.0The Line is a pleasant place to stay and No Goodbyes is a pleasant restaurant. Coffee shop staff and coffee are decent also. Room was fine, hallways a bit worn.
− The amenities fee $27/day that is added whether you use amenities (including wifi) at all. We used none and were still billed. This did not show up on our confirmation when we reserved. I don't know if this is a Line or a Bookings problem but it was not factored into our choice because it was invisible until we checked out.

Very expensive, understaffed, and hot as a swamp on a DC summer day.

− The ac wasn’t working. The front desk offered to comp my room and then charged me for it.

9.0Location. Loved being in a vibrant historic neighborhood.
− Checkout. I was charged for the minibar. Luckily, I took pictures when I checked into my room and when I left to show I didn't eat or drink anything. Confusion over whether or not there was a tub in my room.

9.0Great atmosphere and very nice rooms.
− People at valet were very friendly but unfortunate they damaged the car and didn’t tell us. We didn’t notice until too late. Damage was quite large and the driver must have noticed this. Together with driver we checked the car at arrival and no damages noticed.
