4.0The room cost €50 so I wasn't expecting the Ritz but I was disappointed there was no hot water for a shower, I had to pay for parking which was meant to be free and no Wi-Fi code anywhere

2.06 girls booked for Christmas weekend away and had used card to secure booking but at 8pm on Sunday night before our stay called demanding payment upfront In full, I didn’t have a card and hadn’t collected everyone’s money as the card secured the booking very bad attitude - we landed up booking With another b&b and staying at the bridge in Cavan town which was amazing best full Irish breakfast

8.0These are rooms over a pub. The proprietor was not on site when we arrived, but an inquiry at a pub across the street had him there within a few minutes. He was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are older and mine was quite small, but the price was good, the bed comfortable, and the showers hot. Cavan is a lovely village to explore on foot.
