4.0My stay was disrupted by badly behaved guests in the room next to mine. I had to go to Reception and complain about their behaviour twice. Upon my second complaint, a staff member called the manager who spoke to the unruly guests about the noise. They lied about the noise and when the manager returned to me, he began making excuses for them and turned funny with me! He became awkward and argumentative towards me, then spoke down to me in a very condescending voice before storming off. I do not expect to be treated so rudely when I have a valid cause for complaint. The Inn is beautifully appointed and the rest of the staff were lovely towards me. What a shame that the manager was so unpleasant.
Nice place in the countryside
8.0Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast meals were tasty and plentiful. Room and bathroom were small and bed a bit too soft.

10.0What a lovely hotel! I love the atmosphere - the way it is decorated is serene, and yet you can still see the age in the building definitely in a very well kept way. Highly recommend this hotel as the service was amazing, the food was very delicious and the rooms were comfortable and clean! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Needs maintenance but friendly service saved it
8.0We stayed in King Bed room which was comfy, large and spacious, it was hot so we opened the windows let air through, the bathroom had mould and grout needed to be replaced near shower. I had to clean the fan as all dusty. Room needs a good deep clean. We didn’t use the bath for daughter because of this mould. It was quite dusty when we arrived. The inn itself had a musty smell. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and good value. Plenty of free parking. The inn is right next to a main road so with the windows open the traffic woke me up so had to wear ear plugs.
