− Demasiado chica para 4 personas. No se puede circular bien y el baño es diminuto. Paredes de cartón, se escucha todo.

Only good for singles looking for a cheap, hostel-like stay in a prime NYC location.

The price and location were the best. Although the stay didn't suit my family's needs, the conditions of the stay were outlined from the onset on Booking.com. I knew we'd be sharing a bathroom with others on the floor. When you check in, you'll see that they do everything old-school: hardcopy contracts and reservation documents, paper envelopes containing an actual metal key to unlock the room. All of this, I assume, is meant to keep costs down. The hallways and rooms seem to have been recently remodeled, so it wasn't an ugly setting.

− At checkin, they inform you that they must charge a $175 security deposit per room, which seems excessive. They also claim that NYC has some kind of extra $7.00 city tax that they will only collect in cash, so we reluctantly paid the clerk. He put the cash in an old cash register drawer, and no receipt was given. After the stay, I found an additional $7.00 charge to my credit card from the hotel, so obviously pocketed the cash and ripped us off, but it's not worth a fight, so whatever. As for the room, it was bare-bones as advertised: tiny square footage, a small TV on the wall, no internet unless you pay a fee, a full-sized bed (not queen as promised) with a flimsy steel frame and a thin mattress, a small window AC unit, a small towel for the bathroom, and "ketchup packet" shower gel and shampoo. A few hangers for shirts are on a metal bar next to the sink, but the room isn't big enough for a chest of drawers or a closet. The main problem was the bathroom--it was not clean. The shower floor was littered with toilet paper shavings and human hair. It was wet and slimy. One toilet accommodates at least twenty rooms on the floor; it was often occupied, and many people don't flush after they're done. The shower has a push button that turns off the water after 30 seconds, so you have to keep pressing it. There are no hooks or shelves for your clothing or toiletries. Pretty disgusting. My 16 year old daughter started crying because of the bathroom conditions, and my 13 year old son soldiered through a shower, but my wife insisted we leave after the first night of a two-night stay, and I agreed. If I was in college, alone, and looking for something cheep in a good NYC location, I could've roughed it, but DO NOT choose this hotel if you are with a family.

Horrible, disgusting and a SCAM

NOTHING DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOST

− It was horrible, took us 20 minutes to find the right address entry. The room i booked was not at all what i got and when i tried talking to the person in charge to switch the room she told us no and hung up the phone on us. I requested a room with air conditioning and the AC was broken, also window was broken and ductaped to cardboard. i showed the host photos when asking to change room since the room was boiling hot (40) she disconnected the call again and refused to speak with us. We left and did not stay at this “hotel” or “apartment” which it was NOT it was super small and was not clean there was cigarettes on the window aswell with bugs. We got No refund as we asked not from the host or booking even tho we showed photos and did not complete our stay. I do not recommend to anyone to book with the host, she was super disrespectful and did not accommodate with anything not worth it.

Las camas estaban bien.

− El trato del perslbal, no tienen hoja de reclamaciones, publicidad engañosa, ya que el estudio no contaba con baño completo dentro y las duchas eran comunitarias. Tampoco contaba con cocina equipada como anuncian.

La estancia fué buena, salvo el inconveniente relatado en el punto anterior.

− La recepcionista, no hablaba nada de español y aparte de muy mal caracter, no notó que la llave de mi habitación estaba debajo de los sobres en los que tienen las llaves, donde aparentemente ponen las reservas de los clientes que comunican que van a llegar antes de las 16 hs. como mi caso que llegamos 13,45 y que mi habitación no estaba terminada hasta las 16 hs.- Guardamos el equipage en el mismo edificio, en otro hotel que está a continuación. A las 16Hs. volvimos y el señor que estaba en recepción en ese horario no podía encontrar nuestra reserva, después de intentarlo en varias ocaciones, levantó todos los sobres y el mió estaba debajo de todos, se comunicó con la dueña y nos cobraron la comisión como si hubiésemos entrado a las 14 hs, a pesar que la recepcionista nos informó que nuestra habitación no estaba terminada hasta las 16 hs.

the location was close to everything, but the room was extremely small and the bathroom was used by everyone on the same floor.

− the room was extremely small as well as I did not receive my security deposit back for one reason or another. No explanation or contact with a reason for not being reimbursed
