Antique cozy hotel in the heart of Xela
8.0This hotel is perfectly located in the center of Xela, just a short walking distance from Central Park and many great restaurants, which made getting around very easy and enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive, helpful, and welcoming. They always made us feel comfortable and genuinely cared for, and they were very accommodating with any requests we had during our stay. One of the highlights was definitely the bar. The bartender prepares absolutely delicious drinks that are a must-try if you stay here. The property itself is beautiful, with elegant antique colonial-style décor throughout the hallways and rooms, giving the hotel a charming and authentic atmosphere. Our bedroom was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with soft bedding, clean towels, and a bed that made it easy to rest well after long days exploring the city. Aside from that, we truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return for the excellent location, beautiful atmosphere, and outstanding hospitality from the staff.
− The only area we felt could use improvement was the breakfast. Compared to typical Guatemalan breakfasts, it felt somewhat limited and basic. We also found the breakfast service a bit less welcoming than the rest of the hotel experience, as the server seemed somewhat rushed and not particularly friendly, which made breakfast feel slightly uncomfortable near closing time.
