Very pleasent spacious room
9.0Spacious room on the top floor with double bed, settee and chair. Excellent wet room with shower. Views both sides of the property but windows are a little small to appreciate them.
− The bed was quite firm.
Great location but skip the breakfast
6.0Great location on the riverside with buzzing outdoor tables and a bar serving a great range of ales. Our room (the Rose Room) had a good view of the river. We were able to store our kayak in one of the outdoor areas overnight.
− The staff weren't particularly friendly and seemed more interested with running the bar / hotel / restaurant than they were in making guests feel welcome. Breakfast was particularly odd - order exactly what you want by 20:00 the previous evening and have it served in a joyless room the next day. I would recommend skipping the overpriced breakfast and walking along the riverside and enjoying far better fayre from any of the other cafe's or bars open in the morning.
