10.0Staying at the Allegra is like having your own private 180 degree aerial view of the Bay of Islands upclose. From your room and its balcony. Superb experience. Wonderful hosts. Super clean. All so friendly. Everything you could possibly want as a Traveller is provided. The location is so good I want to say that a stay in Paihia, New Zealand is not full value without at least one overnight at Allegra. Superb hosts. Oh yes. Worth every penny!! Thank you for having us.

10.0From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we had found somewhere special. Brita and Heinz are exceptional hosts who strike the perfect balance between being welcoming, attentive and respectful of your privacy. They genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and memorable. The views are simply breathtaking. Perched above Paihia, the property enjoys panoramic vistas across the Bay of Islands that are impossible to tire of. Our rooms were immaculately presented, comfortable, private and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Every detail had clearly been considered and the entire property is exceptionally well cared for. What sets this place apart, however, is the feeling it gives you. Staying here felt less like checking into accommodation and more like visiting favourite relatives. Everything felt warm, familiar and effortless from the moment we arrived. There is a genuine sense of hospitality that cannot be manufactured and is increasingly rare to find.
