7.0To anyone thinking of staying in this hotel in the near future, please note that there is an extremely noisy renovation ongoing in the neighbourhood! I did not find any mention about this until I had checked in. In my experience atleast the third floor rooms cannot be utilized from 8.30am to 5pm due to nonstop noise, could not read a book or take a nap since I could hear it even through earplugs - so this is worth noticing before making a booking! The rooms were clean and tidy and otherwise had a satisfactory stay.

1.0I didn’t check in because of the receptionist’s attitude. I had just arrived from the airport and was extremely tired. I asked if I could pay a deposit first and settle the remaining balance after getting some rest, as I hadn’t had the chance to exchange my money yet. Then I heard the owner asking the receptionist about my nationality. Excuse me… what does my nationality have to do with anything? People often talk about racism, but discrimination can come from anyone. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel judged and unwelcome.
