Comfortable apartment in local neighbourhood with great Nile views

Very spacious apartment with great Nile River views and a lovely sunny pool area. They did clothes washing very promptly and for a good price. Good location with plenty of cafes and little restaurants all within a short walk. It’s a very rustic little neighbourhood so don’t expect luxury!!

Der herzliche Empfang von Sayed und Mohammed ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Die Lage am Nil ist sehr schön. Das Apartment bietet alles, was man braucht. Luxor zu erkunden ist von hier aus sehr einfach. Als Fahrer empfehle ich Taha und für Felucatouren Saber. Vielen Dank an alle für die schöne Zeit. Ich komme wieder.

Located on the West Bank which is quieter than the East side - as soon as you step out of the accommodation you only have to walk a few minutes and you have stores and restaurants along the street! Very convenient. You can easily cross over to the East Bank too as there are plenty of boats available to take you there (make sure you barter for the best price as always!) Sayed and his family were wonderful to us. His property is beautiful and the apartment itself was very spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you are looking to arrange activities in Luxor, make sure you ask him first before you book on Viator or tour groups. He is actually also a tour guide himself and will be able to help you out. My partner and I needed a driver to drive us around a few West Bank attractions e.g. Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut etc. Sayed arranged this for us at the time we wished to leave and we had the driver for the whole morning from 6:30am - 12am at a very good price. The driver waited for us at each site and didn’t make us feel rushed or have an actual time that we had to stick to like most do when you book a private driver. This allowed us to be able to enjoy the sites we wished to see in our own time. Thank you so much for everything! Best regards to you and your family Sayed ^_^

− Lots of stairs to the apartment, be aware there is no elevator. I’m recovering from a knee injury at the time of travel so for myself I found it tough sometimes to go up and down as I was relying on one leg/knee to do this. However it was my fault for not thinking about this issue so it isn’t a problem on the property itself. But if you have mobility issues just be aware of this and perhaps give it some thought before booking.

I couldn’t recommend a better place for anyone visiting Luxor. The accommodation is located on the West Bank of the Nile, away from the city's traffic and chaos, in a safe and picturesque neighborhood. You can easily cross the river at any time in just a few minutes thanks to the very affordable ferry service, which runs even at night. The property offers various types of accommodation, and we chose the apartment with a Nile view. Everything is well-maintained and clean, from the pool to the garden. The view from the rooftop is incredible a perfect spot to relax on the many sofas. I’d like to especially thank the owners for the warm welcome and for allowing us an early check-in. There are also many good restaurants in the area where we ordered takeaway to enjoy back at our apartment. A perfect stay!

The apartment was very big and really well furnished with amazing views across the Nile, and a balcony with each room. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room in each bedroom. The location was excellent, right next to boats across the Nile, restaurants, a shop and an ATM. The owners were really nice and helpful. The garden and pool area were also really good. Would definitely go back again and can thoroughly recommend.

Heerlijk verblijf met prachtig uitzicht over de Nijl

De locatie. Prachtig uitzicht over de Nijl. Heerlijk dakterras. Gunstig ten opzichte van winkels in Gezira en motorboten/ferry naar de oostelijke oever.

− Door de Ramadan veel geluid van de naastgelegen moskee. Ook geluid van de ganzen die bij de buren worden gehouden. De medewerker confronteerde ons naar aanleiding van een bezoek van een Egyptische lerares Arabisch onvriendelijk met een 'huisregel' dat bezoek vantevoren moet worden aangemeld. Deze huisregel was ons helemaal niet verteld bij aankomst. Bovendien was deze medewerker voor ons niet bereikbaar, dus hoe zouden we bezoek moeten aanmelden?
